English Premier League Preview: Manchester City vs. Chelsea
A pair of teams with English Premier League title aspirations will do battle when Manchester City welcomes Chelsea to City of Manchester Stadium on Saturday.
Both clubs finished at or near the top of the standings last year, and both teams figure to do the same this year. This is the first meeting between the clubs in EPL play this year. Manchester City swept both league meetings last season, but Chelsea finished on top of the standings.

Meanwhile, the Chelsea offense has been spectacular. Florent Malouda has six goals this season in four starts. He has also gotten 17 shots on goal. Salomon Kalou and Didier Drogba have also been excellent, scoring four and five goals respectively. With all the talent and speed they have on offense, Chelsea is loaded.

Joe Hart has been remarkable in goal, with eighteen saves and only two goals allowed. The Manchester City offense hasn’t been as good as that of Chelsea, but they still are fully capable of putting goals on the board. Carlos Tevez leads the way for the, with three goals on the season.
Manchester City has no fear of Chelsea. They beat them twice last year and are playing at home. They are as capable as any team of slowing Chelsea down. For Manchester City to win, they will need Hart to remain steady in goal while applying enough pressure to slow down the Chelsea attack.
